I founded Shirat Sharon in 2013 to create a warm, welcoming Jewish home beyond the walls of a traditional synagogue.
If you have ever felt disconnected, unsure where you belong, or simply curious about Jewish life, there is a place for you here. Shirat Sharon is especially designed for those who are unaffiliated, part of interfaith families, LGBTQIA+, spiritually seeking, returning to Judaism, or just beginning to explore.
Through learning, worship, community gatherings, spiritual guidance, and personal connection, Shirat Sharon offers meaningful Jewish life with warmth, flexibility, and respect.

Meet Rabbi-Cantor Sharon Steinberg
"Jewish life that meets you where you are."
Rabbi-Cantor Sharon Steinberg — known by many simply as Rabbi Sharon — brings warmth, music, wisdom, and compassion to her work with individuals and families seeking meaningful Jewish connection.
From 2015 to 2026, Rabbi Sharon served as the spiritual leader of Temple Beth Shira in Boca Raton. Before becoming a rabbi, she spent more than two decades as a cantor and has long been recognized as a classically trained vocalist, teacher, and performer.
Through Shirat Sharon and Rabbi Sharon at Your Service, she offers Jewish learning, worship experiences, pastoral support, lifecycle officiation, B’nai Mitzvah preparation, conversion guidance, and holiday programs that are personal, accessible, and welcoming.
Her work is rooted in Jewish tradition while remaining open, inclusive, and deeply respectful of each person’s journey. Whether officiating, teaching, singing, or simply listening, Rabbi Sharon’s goal is always the same: to help people feel seen, supported, and connected to Jewish life in ways that are meaningful to them.
